Environmental product declaration (EPD) for painted exterior claddings has been published

Luvian Saha Oy has published an environmental product declaration (EPD) for painted exterior claddings as an addition to the earlier published EPD for sawn and planed timber that was published in 2021.

Both EPD’s will be utilized for instance in carbon footprint calculations. As environmental issues are even more important nowadays when deciding on building materials, this latest EDP provides a reliable source to have environmental information on painted exterior claddings. The EPD covers all phases of the product life cycle from the raw material extraction to its disposal. As one of the most diverse renewable and reusable raw materials, it allows us to build a sustainable tomorrow.

This EPD for painted exterior claddings has been verified in accordance with ISO 14025 by an independent, third-party verifier, EPD Hub, by reviewing results, documents and compliancy with reference standard, EN 15804+A2 as well as ISO 21930. Please find the link to the EPD below.
