Customer survey 2021

In beginning of year 2021, we have conducted a customer survey in order to hear customers’ opinions on our performance during the past 12 months. We were happy to notice that we were considered as a reliable partner and we have been able to provide high-level sales service to our customers.

Furthermore, this survey has enabled us to recognize certain areas of improvement. We have gone through these areas together with different departments. Appropriate actions have been taken to further enhance these according to given feedback.

Our logistics manager Ari-Pekka Strander will retire

Our long-term logistics manager Ari-Pekka Strander will retire on 1.10.2021. Ari-Pekka started at Luvian Saha Oy in 2007. During these years, he has seen different kinds of eras in the field of logistics. Especially the past 2 years have been particularly challenging.
Ari-Pekka started his career in 1982 in Helsinki at John Nurminen company. With his friend Juhani Wallenius they founded Wallstrand Oy, acting as an ice-hockey player agency at the end of 1980’s. Later on, the company expanded their operations to logistics, organizing transportations worldwide for different companies.
Ari-Pekka feels that his years in Luvia have been rewarding, especially due to good work community and great colleagues. Over the years, Ari-Pekka has created good connections with various companies in the logistics industry. Jonna Paavilainen, who will take over Ari-Pekka’s tasks, will have a good basis for continuing as company’s logistics supervisor.
